Hello *smile* my name is Crystelle D'Monique.

I'm in tenth grade at this highly competitive high school where everyone is either a druggie or a friggin' genius, and sometimes both. I do alright for myself. I get mostly A's and a B occasionally, but no where near the grades some of the kids in my classes get.

I like video games, but usually don't play them, just because I'm not very good. I enjoy them, but a short video game can take me several months to beat. A long one...well, you can imagine.

I like to read, but am very picky about it. My family likes to buy me books as presents, but usually I wind up not reading them just because I'm too picky. For my English class, where I have to read the books, I nearly die, because my teacher makes us keep journals, and I can't stand breaking the stream of consciousness to take notes. That and I'm lazy.

I like anime, but don't get a lot of chance to watch it because I'm broke and don't really have any friends that like anime.

I write original fiction, slash specifically, though I do enjoy gen, het, and femslash as well. I read more than I write, and have trouble commiting to anything. So anything I start, may not get finished for a while. And I may disappear for weeks at a time from here.

Random obsessions include Legend of Zelda, violin octets, X-Men, anime music videos, costume design, House, pretty quotes, fantasy, video games, punk rock, Robin (from Batman), Fullmetal Alchemist, psychology, anime, braiding hair, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter (not so much lately, though), human rights, Law and Order (CI is my fav), manga, sociology, romantic comedies, Naruto, science fiction, writing scripts, yaoi, and philosophy.

A living planet is a much more complex metaphor for deity than just a bigger father with a bigger fist. If an omniscient, all-powerful Dad ignores your prayers, it's taken personally.
